Kuala Lumpur
Sep 22, 2009Flying in from Brunei, the final stop on the GAP trip was Kuala Lumpur. No time to explore the city, but that didn’t really matter, as we had booked an extra week in KLCC - Kuala Lumpur City Centre - and had time to explore the city on our own. Leaving from Sandakan by plane we flew back to Kota Kinabalu. Explored the city for a while and then flew on to visit the small country of Brunei.

Mount Kinabalu & Kinabatangan
Sep 13, 2009We flew in from Singapore and arrived at Kota Kinabalu. It was lated, and crashed at a hotel. Next morning we left early for Mount Kinabalu, and stayed a night at a hotel high up and with a stunning view of the mountain. Venturing down again, we found our way to Kinabatangan and explored rivers to find Elephants, Monkeys, Birds and other animals.
