Scandic Nørreport

- Dead center of the city and excellent transport (Regional trains, metro trains and busses).
- Extremely walkable to sights, shopping and parks (Rosenborg Castle, The botanic garden.

Scandic Spectrum

- New and nice on the harbour front (2km north of the GC Office; 250 meters from Central Station).
- Still walkable to most sights and strolling along the harbour.

Scandic Copenhagen

- Right next to "the lakes" (5 artifical lakes which once was a moat around Copenhagen).
- Very walkable to most sights in Copenhagen.
- Good transport connectivity (Vestport Metro trains)

• Copenhagen Marriott Hotel - Almost across from Scandic Spectrum on the canal edge.
• 71 Nyhavn Hotel – Located at the end of Nyhavn.
• The Square (or the Scandic Palace Hotel) – Located on City Hall Square. Great for exploring Copenhagen on foot.
• Villa Copenhagen – The old Post Service Headquarter recently turned into a very nice hotel.

FAQ

Why are there only Scandic Hotels?

Because they have some excellent locations and close by alternatives are much more expensive.

Why are all the hotels within Copenhagen and not in the suburbs?

Because if you’re in the city you can basically walk to most sights - and from the city center it’s easy to go out and explore things outside Copenhagen?

Why no hotels on Amager (where the Airport is)?

Because while there are lovely and interesting sights for both nature, museums, and other sights they’re not walkable but often requires public transport. In many cases the selection of restaurants and other places to get food and do shopping is very limited. The City center offers much more :)
