This is a list of things which may be interesting to see when visiting Copenhagen.

1. Tivoli Gardens
- A nice fun fiar with lovely gardens
- Expensive, but sort of unique and world famous.
2. Bakken & Dyrehaven (Take the orange line S-train to Klampenborg. It’s short walk from there).
(Unless you like the outdoors or have seen what you like in Copenhagen, skip this suggestion)
- Bakken is the oldest fairground in the world - free entry
- Dyrehaven is the forrest Bakken is located in. It's well worth a visit
(UNESCO World Heritage site).
- In Dyrehaven is "Eremitageslottet" - a small historic "hunting castle"
3. The Blue Planet

- National Aquarium near the Airport.
- Spectacular building.
4. Experimentarium - A hands-on Science museum.

5. Amalienborg
- The home of the Royal family. Get there at 12 o'clock where the guard change.
- It's also possible to visit one of the four houses of Amalienborg.

6. Sømods Bolcher
- An old-fashioned Candy store where they show the making of the candy.

7. Rosenborg Castle
- Close to Nørreport station
- A small fairytall like castle - https://denkongeligesamling.dk/en/rosenborg-castle/
8. Take a stroll down Nyhavn

- Kongens Nytorv and "Højbro plads" are to nice squares.
- At twilight or later, stroll by Hotel D'Angleterre at Kongens Nytorv.
9. “Slotsholmen” - many interesting sights on an island in the center of town…
- The Royal Library (https://www.kb.dk/en): The building is quite interesting with a old library and a new modern part.
- The Danish Parliament - https://www.thedanishparliament.dk/
- The Stock Exchange (https://www.danskerhverv.dk/Medlemskab-og-netvaerk/engelsk/) which sadly burned last year and is currently being rebuild.
- Holmens Kirke (https://www.holmenskirke.dk/) - A historic church.
10. Christiania

- The autonomous Freetown of Christiania is probably the most visited tourist sight.
- No more obvious drug sales anymore, so a safe place to take a stroll.
11. Looking for Trolls…
- A Danish Artist has build 400+ giant trolls of recycled materials - see https://www.thomasdambo.com/
- One of the are in Christiania (https://www.thomasdambo.com/works/green-george) and a few other places.

12. Torvehallerne
- Next to Nørreport is a gourmet market which is fun to stroll through...

13. “Broens Street food”
- One of the less famous street food markets, but well worth a visit.

14. Copenhill…
- An all-year skiing hill in Copenhagen.
- There's a wonderful view from the top - where you can get up for free.
- No too far away, but may be inconvenient to get to with public transport.

15. Kødbyen - The Meatpacking district.
- Hottest place to find food in Copenhagen, close to GC office.
16. “Strøget”
- Often described as the premier shopping street, but not really.
- Nice stroll from City Hall Square to “Kongens Nytorv” (and Nyhavn).
- Alternate shopping: Fisketorvet (next to GC office), Fields (near the airport).
17. There are two “Harbour busses” which are like the public busses.
- Weather permitting they are a nice way to get around.
18. For the adventurous: Visit the spire on the Church of our savior…
- Take the (outside) stair/walkaway to the top of the spire and enjoy spectacular views of Copenhagen...

19. Rent bikes and ride like a local
- Some hotels offeres free or cheap bikes - and orange "Donkey bikes" can be rented through an app.
- "Havneringen" is a 14 km look for walking and biking along the harbour.
