So it’s been quiet for a while. I’ve been unplugged from the Internet and first visiting Paris, France, and Calabria in Italy for a week… and no, we haven’t decided on where our next destination will be but it most likely a few months away.
It’s been quiet for a while. I’ve been away on vacation and detoxing from information overload. This time we went to San Francisco – our first visit to the US west Coast – and spend two days there (it really wasn’t enough time), and then went on to Hawaii – first on a cruise between the islands and then a week in Honolulu.
So it’s that time of the year again. Looking back, looking forward and often setting new resolutions at least intended to last a few months. While I mostly don’t bother, I did set two goals to conquer.

So I do travel by plan from time to time – and everywhere I can find out when I depart (in local time at the departing port) and when I land (in local time on the destination). I cannot however find the (estimated) flight time anywhere, when booking the ticket – why is that? And why isn’t there a simple service, where you can either look up flight times – or at least enter the two time you know and get it calculated on the fly (and accounting for time zones and daylight savings).
It’s been a growing trend among strong brands to open stores on prestigious places to promote and show case their products. Some companies however does it a lot better than others… and so far Apple takes the number one place from my point of view.
